Windshield repair
Our windshield chip repair is quick, easy, and affordable. When an object, such as a stone, hits the windshield, small bits of glass are thrown out. Initially, the damage will not be very noticeable, but a small chip can quickly grow into a larger break or even a crack.
Windshield repair technology forces the air out of the glass and replaces it with a resin. This resin cures to produce a windshield with the same strength as the original. Repair is possible only when the outer layer of the laminated safety glass is damaged. If rock chips are smaller than the size of a quarter and are not in the driver's direct line of sight, they can be fixed.

ADAS Camera Calibration
Precise Auto Glass offers windshield calibration on most vehicles containing an ADAS camera system. On modern vehicles model years 2016 and newer, ADAS has become a safety standard and will continue to proliferate across the automotive industry. If your windshield is replaced or if the camera is disturbed, the ADAS camera system is required to be calibrated. Precise Auto Glass is pleased to offer mobile windshield calibration.
What is ADAS Recalibration?
Have you noticed the camera on or by your windshield? That camera is responsible for the proper operation of one or more of the ADAS features in your vehicle such as collision warning, adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, blind spots monitoring, among others. When we complete an ADAS recalibration, it is that windshield camera we are recalibrating. There are two types of ADAS recalibration, static and dynamic.
ADAS stands for “Advanced Driver(s) Assistance Systems”. These systems rely upon cameras, lasers, and radar – often with the camera is mounted to the windshield. Any time a new windshield is installed, the camera must be calibrated to ensure proper functionality and to restore the camera to Manufacture specifications.
Static Recalibration
Static recalibration consists of setting up a vehicle-specific target board and lasers to a certain distance from the vehicle and finding the center of the vehicle. The camera is then re-calibrated via the scanning tool connected to the vehicle’s computer and the target board aligns the vehicle.
Dynamic Recalibration
Dynamic recalibration consists of connecting a scan tool to the vehicle and going for a road test. The road test will then align the vehicle while the scan tool re-calibrates the camera.
Examples of ADAS applications are:
Lane Departure Warning
Collision Warning
Blind Spot Monitoring
Park Assist
Adaptive Cruise Control
Pedestrian Protection
Headlights Control
